Job summary

A leading provider of HVAC solutions in Riyadh is seeking a supply chain professional to oversee logistics and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree, and strong knowledge of Saudi Customs and SASO procedures. This role involves effective inventory control and vendor management to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in planning, logistics, or any supply chain related field.
  • Good knowledge about Saudi Customs and SASO regulations and procedures.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, engineering, or a high diploma in a supply chain field.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and arrange purchase orders for material shortages.
  • Maintain safety stock for VRV units and manage delivery timelines.
  • Inventory control and justify discrepancies.
  • Meet vendors to determine prices and service levels.
  • Manage warehouse and negotiate rates with service providers.

Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • Monitoring unconfirmed orders, and arrange the purchase order to cover the shortage materials.
  • Study and place order to supplier to cover the sales forecast (OO+Pipeline+Opportunities).
  • Maintain safety stock for VRV units.
  • Follow up the purchase orders delivery date, and make sure material arrived on time.
  • Follow up with DAME, fright forwarder, insurance agency and transporters to make sure any purchased material will arrive on time.
  • Inventory control.
  • Justify any discrepancies between inventory and budget inventory value.
  • Meet new and existing vendors to determine latest market Prices & Service Level.
  • Report about the transportation cost and efficiency.
  • Warehouse management.
  • Negotiation of the rates with service provider.
  • Approve the extra cost over time requests based on work load.
  • Report about the cost per CBM.
  • Stock Count:
  • Inform management and sales team about stock count schedule.
  • Ensure that no one can issue any OB, Invoice, IB.
  • Insurance report.
  • Review and report the international shipment insurance report.
  • Follow up Saber registration with DAME and payment with DKSA finance.
  • Follow up vendors authorization letters.
  • Maintain team's KPI’s and evaluation and align with department manager.
  • Maintain supply chain dashboard reports on monthly basis.
Job Requirements

Experience & Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree, with Minimum 5 years’ experience in planning or logistic or any supply chain related field.
  • Preferable if he has a supply chain certificate from a reputed college or institute.
  • Has very good knowledge about Saudi Customs and SASO regulations and procedures.

Education

Bachelor’s degree for mechanical or electrical or engineering or a high diploma/certificate in a related supply chain field.
