We are seeking an Energy Markets Specialist to join the Policy and Corporate Finance Strategy Division (PCFSD) within Saudi Aramco's Treasury, located in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia (HQ).
PCFSD performs strategic analysis including mid to long term liquidity forecasting as well as advisory on strategic Treasury matters. PCFSD also serves as the primary interface for Treasury with other business lines and affiliates within the Company for strategic level corporate matters.
Your primary role is to contribute to the required various critical activities by analyzing energy market's dynamics, conducting advanced scenario planning, and translating energy and economic trends into actionable corporate finance strategies. The role will also require collaboration with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with internal and external market conditions, supporting the company's broader treasury and financial objectives.
Leverage knowledge and expertise in energy and capital markets to formulate strategies to maintain an optimal capital structure that supports funding flexibility while safeguarding the company's financial position during market fluctuations.
Understand, analyze and report on how the energy industry dynamics (Prices, technology, demand/supply, and regulations) could impact the company's financial position including liquidity, access to capital, short term and mid-term investment strategies, and financial resilience.
Comprehend and translate complex energy data and relevant updates into actionable insights for internal reporting and strategic financial planning.
Communicate complex data about the energy markets to both technical and non-technical audiences through compelling and clear presentations and reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align internal figures with global standards and maintain consistency in reporting processes.
Mentor junior staff on statistical methodologies, energy market analysis, and compliance with international standards to build team expertise.
Lead initiatives to improve internal statistical processes, ensuring alignment with global best practices and enhancing organizational capabilities.
