The core manufacturing activities of the industries operating under alfanar Building Systems are:

  • Precast concrete products and architectural elements

Leading the development and evaluation of advanced structural systems for buildings and infrastructure to ensure safety, stability, and efficiency. Directing the design of complex structural elements, validating material performance and load conditions, and enforcing rigorous compliance with building codes and regulations. Coordinating with architects and multidisciplinary engineering teams to drive the integration of innovative structural solutions into comprehensive project plans.

Key Accountability Areas

Design and Analysis:

  • Lead the development and validation of sophisticated structural designs for buildings and infrastructure using advanced engineering principles and software.
  • Oversee and review comprehensive structural calculations to ensure resilience against loads and environmental factors, including wind, seismic activity, and snow.
  • Determine and approve appropriate materials based on structural requirements, cost-effectiveness, and durability.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure and enforce adherence of all designs to local, national, and international building codes and standards.
  • Direct the preparation and approval of detailed drawings, specifications, and reports for construction and regulatory compliance.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to integrate structural designs seamlessly with broader project components.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources while providing guidance and alignment to stakeholders on project objectives.

Site and Construction Management:

  • Lead site inspections to monitor construction progress, verify compliance with design specifications, and resolve technical issues.
  • Anticipate, evaluate, and resolve design or construction challenges by delivering practical, cost-effective solutions.

Professional Development and Innovation:

  • Champion continuous improvement by staying at the forefront of industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies to elevate design practices and structural performance.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing across the engineering team.
