Job summary

A prominent aviation company in Dammam is seeking an experienced Captain to operate narrow-body aircraft. Responsibilities include conducting pre-flight inspections, mentoring First Officers, and ensuring passenger safety and compliance with aviation regulations. Candidates must have a Bachelor in Engineering or significant flight experience, with at least 144000 flight hours and valid GACA ATP and Class 1 Medical certificates. Job description
Basic Function
  • Performs Captain duties in assigned airplane in compliance with Operating Manuals and other duties as assigned by Chief Pilot or Fleet Captain.
  • Responsible for complete knowledge of operating procedures in assigned airplane.
  • Performs as assigned standby duty.
  • Conducts interior and pre-flight inspections to ensure aircraft air‑worthiness, to include aircraft log, time on engines, time on aircraft and maintenance work performed.
  • Mentors new First Officer in their assigned airplane to help them improve and develop their skills.
  • Checks personally, or with the First Officer, to ensure all manifests and documents are properly completed, passengers are accounted for and cargo is loaded and secured for the flight. Obtains flight clearance and clears with Customs and Immigration officials.
  • Checks weather reports and ensures safe weather conditions for the route, cancelling flight if safe conditions do not exist.
  • Pilots the aircraft in accordance with established and well‑recognized airman procedures and applicable Rules and Regulations.
  • Provides technical supervision to First Officers to ensure functions are performed in accordance with established procedures.
  • Checks the safety and comfort of the passengers and ensures that the aircraft is being operated in compliance with established rules and regulations.
  • Completes all assigned courses as required by the company and Training Unit or Fleet Captain.
  • Clears through Customs & Immigration and secures the aircraft.
  • Adheres to company cyber security policies, ensuring safe handling of information, protection of systems, and compliance with data security standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor in Engineering/Technical Discipline or Highschool with 5000 flight hours. (2000 hrs as PIC)
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 144000 flight hours on Narrow‑body airplane.
  • License and Certificates: GACA ATP, GACA Class 1 Medical Certificate
