Job summary

A leading IT services provider located in Al-Qassim Province, Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer. This role involves ensuring the stability and efficient operation of information systems, mentoring staff, and managing major IT projects. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Communications engineering or computer science, and at least 2 years of experience. Expertise in Microsoft Azure and Windows OS is essential, along with strong problem-solving skills. This position is open to Saudi Nationals only.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer’s role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. The Senior Systems Engineer will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. This individual will also mentor and provide guidance to the Systems Engineer staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining proper planning, implementation, and operations for the technologies and services
• Managing the interactions between Internal Teams, Vendors and Customer teams to assure services delivery/availability and fast TTM / problem solving with the best quality and a satisfactory service level.
• Identifying problematic areas and implementing strategic solutions in time.
• Overseeing and determining major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages
• Fostering new ideas, technologies, and ways of improvement for Infrastructure and Development Systems and Sub Systems.
• To plan, develop, implement, and operate DevOps and Open-Source Platforms.

Requirements

• Knowledge of implementing and administration Share point.
• Knowledge of implementing and administration of Microsoft System center suite 2012, 2016.
• Very good Knowledge Exchange (2010, 2013, 2016, and 2019) on primes and hypered.
• Exchange 2013 to 2016/2019 Upgrade.
• Expert knowledge of MS Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Azure AD.
• Office 365 – Exchange Online, Teams, Skype for Business Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and problem management in a multi-platform environment.
• Experience participating in all aspects of large-scale Enterprise Architecture projects including ideation, identification, planning, and cost estimation through requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and production
