Job description

Job Purpose: As the Senior Specialist Esports World Cup Product, you will support the development, execution, and enhancement of the Esports World Cup (EWC) tournaments. The ideal candidate will have a background in esports product management, a deep understanding of the esports landscape, and the ability to drive initiatives that position the EWC as a premier event in the global esports calendar.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in developing and driving the overall strategy for the EWC, setting the vision and strategic goals.

Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to enable the implementation of design choices.

Support the continuous development of the Clubs Championship concept.

Assist in developing and managing the broadcasting strategy for the EWC.

Supervise the operations of the World Cup and provide on-site support throughout the event.

Coordinate with internal teams such as Clubs and Players, Community, Marketing, Games, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless event execution.

Monitor strategic key performance indicators to measure the success and impact of events, driving decision-making and continuous improvement.

Collect feedback after tournaments and develop action plans for future events.

Work on the overall product governance, including budgeting, monitoring, and reporting.

Prepare status reports and updates for senior management and stakeholders.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent.

4+ years of experience in the esports industry, with a focus on product management and event execution.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic plans.

Experience in managing large competitive products and designing esports ecosystems/tournaments.

Expert knowledge of gaming genres relevant to esports, league structure, and the global esports event scene.

Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly communicate with stakeholders at various levels.

Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic and high-pressure work environment.

Fluent in Arabic and English.

Experience working in Saudi Arabia with a deep understanding of the local legislative and regulatory environment.
