Job summary

A leading mining company in Riyadh is seeking a Lead Engineer, Process to provide advanced engineering expertise and leadership in optimizing plant processes. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related fields, along with 5-12 years of experience in heavy industrial operations. Responsibilities include leading engineering activities, managing optimization projects, and mentoring junior engineers. This role emphasizes safety compliance and innovation.

Qualifications

  • 5–12 years of relevant process engineering experience in mining, metals, petrochemical, or related heavy industrial operations.
  • Experience in leading technical teams and managing engineering deliverables.
  • Demonstrated experience in process design and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead process engineering activities ensuring technical excellence.
  • Develop, review, and approve process design documents.
  • Provide troubleshooting and technical support for process performance.
  • Manage and execute process optimization initiatives.
  • Oversee and mentor junior process engineers.
  • Support project execution including scope development and commissioning.

Skills

Process simulation software proficiency
Knowledge of PFDs and P&IDs
Understanding of process safety principles
Analytical and troubleshooting skills
Effective communication skills

Education
