We’re partnering with a top GCC company in high-growth mode to hire a Senior People & Operations Manager a foundational hire who will sit at the heart of their Saudi operations.
This is not a traditional, siloed HR role. It’s a broad, strategic, and hands‑on position that blends HR, executive support, office management, and finance operations. You’ll be the connective tissue across people, processes, and leadership helping build a scalable, compliant, and high‑performing operation as the company continues its rapid expansion.
Why this role matters
The company is entering a new phase of growth in KSA and needs a trusted operator who can own and eventually lead a mixed portfolio of responsibilities:
- HR (c. 50%) – talent acquisition, onboarding, HR operations, Saudization, compliance
- Executive Support (c. 25%) – supporting senior leadership on coordination, priorities, and follow‑through
- Office Management (c. 15%) – running the Riyadh office, vendors, and day‑to‑day environment
- Finance Operations (c. 10%) – payments execution, coordination with HQ finance, and basic controls
You’ll work closely with a senior leader with a consulting background, so a structured, analytical, consulting‑style approach will be a strong advantage.
What you’ll do
In this role, you will:
- Lead core HR operations in KSA
- Own recruitment processes (sourcing, screening, interview coordination) for key roles.
- Manage onboarding, offboarding, HR documentation, and HRIS updates.
- Drive Saudization initiatives and ensure full compliance with Saudi labor law and regulatory frameworks.
- Coordinate payroll and HR administration with local partners and HQ.
- Act as a strategic partner to leadership
- Provide day‑to‑day executive support to the KSA General Manager (scheduling, prioritization, follow‑ups).
- Help translate strategic priorities into operational actions and track execution.
- Prepare and maintain key trackers, summaries, and light reporting for leadership.
- Run the Riyadh office smoothly
- Oversee office management: facilities, vendors, supplies, and a professional, welcoming environment.
- Manage compliance‑related documentation (Iqama, visas, contracts, renewals) and government portals (e.g., Mudad, Qiwa, Muqeem, GOSI) in coordination with partners.
- Coordinate with external providers on telecoms, logistics, and other local services.
- Support finance operations
- Execute day‑to‑day payments (payroll, government payments, vendors) in coordination with HQ Finance.
- Help maintain accuracy, timeliness, and basic internal controls across finance operations.
- Build for the future
- Help shape scalable processes and documentation across HR, office, and finance ops.
- Partner with universities and institutions to build local talent pipelines.
- Contribute ideas on how to structure and evolve the shared services function as the team grows.
Who we’re looking for
- Saudi with strong HR experience and a track record in shared services / people & operations roles.
- 4–6 years’ experience across HR, finance operations, or shared services, ideally in fintech, tech, or other high‑growth environments.
- Bilingual in Arabic & English, with clear, confident communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong compliance grounding: Saudi labor law, GOSI, and HR/finance regulatory frameworks.
- Proven operational strength: managing payroll, payments, vendors, office operations, and documentation end‑to‑end.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity – able to multitask, prioritize, and operate independently in a fast‑paced setting.
- A consulting‑style mindset (whether from consulting or similar environments): structured thinking, problem‑solving, and comfort working closely with senior leadership.
Timing & growth potential
- This is an important but not urgent hire, with a target start in early 2026. That means we can be selective and deliberate, focusing on quality and long‑term fit rather than speed.
- Depending on the strength and profile of candidates, the company may evolve this into two roles in the future (e.g., HR & Finance Ops Officer + Executive Support & Office Management).
- Strong candidates who are an excellent fit for part of the scope – but not the full mix – may be kept in an internal talent pipeline for future opportunities.
If you’re a Saudi with a strong HR foundation and the ambition to own a broad people & operations portfolio at a fast‑growing GCC company, this role offers a rare chance to build something meaningful from the ground up.
