Job summary

A leading company in NDT services is seeking a skilled PAUT NDT Technician in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role involves performing advanced ultrasonic examinations, ensuring compliance with client and safety specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with PAUT systems and relevant certifications, along with excellent communication skills. The position offers a competitive salary and a contract duration of 5 years, renewable.

Qualifications

• Valid ASNT Level II / ISO 9712 certification in UT and PAUT is mandatory.
• Additional NDT certifications such as MT, PT, RT are preferred.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASME, AWS D1.1, API, ISO).

Responsibilities

• Conduct Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) inspections on welds.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate PAUT equipment.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams and follow project specifications.

Skills

Proficiency in operating PAUT systems

Strong understanding of ultrasonic wave theory

Ability to interpret technical drawings

Excellent reporting and communication skills

Education

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering
