Our team includes both fire engineering consultants and fire protection systems designers/engineers which enables us to offer integrated solutions and the successful individual would work alongside those members and undertake tasks for both fire engineering and design of fire protection systems.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fire Engineer to join the specialist Fire group in our KSA office, to work on the design of some of the most exciting construction design projects in the MENA and worldwide.

Working across a variety of sectors such as Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Retail and Critical Systems, infrastructure you will carry out detailed fire engineering design and develop fire strategies, fire hazard identification and fire risk assessment, smoke control design and code compliance review. Knowledge of fire suppression and fire alarm system will be beneficial.

You will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop.

The successful candidate will be supported by dedicated senior members of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Fire and Life Safety strategies and reports across all project stages.
  • Review design drawings for compliance with fire code requirements.
  • Prepare drawings, calculations, and technical documentation to support design submissions.
  • Coordinate with internal design teams, clients, and third-party reviewers to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Lead and support Civil Defence submissions, clarifications, and approval processes.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and audits when required.
  • Provide technical advice and propose solutions based on fire engineering principles.
  • Stay updated on the latest codes, standards, and authority guidelines within the MENA region.
The Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fire Engineering, Architecture, or another relevant discipline.
  • Strong experience working with MENA-region fire codes and standards, including UAE Fire Code, QCDD, SBC, NFPA, and local Civil Defence requirements.
  • Proven experience in managing Fire and Life Safety approval processes with authorities having jurisdiction.
  • Professional certifications such as CFPS or CFPE are preferred.
