Greyridge Exploration Corp focuses on discovering copper and gold deposits on underexplored, highly prospective land in Saudi Arabia. The company holds 25 licenses covering 1,823 KM² situated on and near defined gold and copper mineral belts.

Role Description

The Senior Exploration Geologist will help drive the advancement Greyridge’s exploration portfolio in Saudi Arabia. The role involves leading exploration programs from planning and budgeting through to field execution and data interpretation, while ensuring compliance with MIMR regulations. Responsibilities include supervising teams and contractors, upholding HSEC standards, managing GIS and geological datasets, and preparing high-quality technical and regulatory reports. The full-time position is located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities
  • Exploration Program Management & Compliance: Support management of exploration programs, including project planning, budgeting, cost tracking, and delivery within scope and financial controls. Supervise contractors and geological teams and ensure compliance with all Ministry of Industry & Mineral Resources (MIMR) reporting obligations, including annual and biannual reports.
  • Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior geological personnel, providing technical guidance and oversight of daily tasks. Exercise supervisory functions and financial authorities as delegated by management. Ensure contractors are fully briefed on company requirements, including HSEC standards and reporting obligations.
  • Field Operations & Data Interpretation: Control and coordinate field activities, including sampling, mapping, drilling, and logging. Oversee marking, photographing, and accurate labelling of core samples prior to analysis. Interpret assay results, review historical exploration work, and integrate findings to refine exploration targeting. Prepare reports on field activities for management.
  • HSEC: Lead and/or support implementation of Health, Safety, Environment and Community (HSEC) standards across all exploration activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and Saudi regulations. Conduct regular HSE meetings, audits, and site inspections; provide guidance to subordinates; authorize corrective measures to mitigate unsafe practices; and investigate incidents with formal recommendations. Promote a strong safety culture across both employees and contractors.
  • GIS & Data Management: Lead and/or oversee the management of geological, geochemical, and geophysical data in GIS systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with MIMR requirements. Produce and maintain high-quality maps, cross-sections, and spatial datasets to support exploration targeting, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Technical Reporting & Representation: Develop and present exploration results, observations, and conclusions to management and at technical seminars within the Kingdom. Prepare professional technical reports and presentations to support corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Administration & Other Duties: Supervise field operations and related administrative functions, ensuring efficiency of logistics and support. Carry out other related duties as required by management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's / Master degree in Geology with a major in Earth Sciences, Mineral Resources or Mining
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in mineral exploration or mining geology
  • Computer literate, exploration and geological software
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is desirable
