Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team for The Avenues mixed‑use development project. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive electrical engineering expertise with a focus on Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems integration for this large‑scale retail and mixed‑use development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering aspects of PMC services for The Avenues development, ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities
• Oversee design and implementation of comprehensive electrical infrastructure including power distribution, lighting systems, emergency power, and grounding systems
• Design and oversee implementation of integrated ELV systems including telecommunications, data networks, security systems, audio‑visual systems, and building management systems
• Apply specialized knowledge of retail electrical requirements for mixed‑use components including residential, office, hospitality, and retail spaces
• Review and approve electrical designs, specifications, and technical submittals from design consultants and contractors

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
• Professional Engineering license or equivalent professional certification
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering with focus on commercial and mixed‑use developments
• Extensive experience in PMC roles for large‑scale construction projects, preferably mixed‑use or retail developments
• Proven expertise in ELV systems design, implementation, and integration
• Direct experience with shopping mall or large retail development electrical systems
• Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM, Revit MEP)
• Strong understanding of international electrical codes (IEC, NEC) and local regulatory requirements
