Responsibilities

• Develop Internal Reports.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Gather data from various internal and external sources relevant to customs, zakat, and tax domains.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that may impact reporting.
  • Report Design and Development: Design comprehensive reports that effectively communicate insights across customs, zakat, and tax domains.
  • Utilise advanced reporting tools and software to create dynamic and interactive reports.
  • Integration and Automation: Implement automated data integration processes to ensure timely and accurate report generation.
  • Develop scripts and macros to streamline data processing and report updates.
  • Documentation and Standardisation: Document reporting processes and methodologies to ensure consistency and repeatability.
  • Establish standardised templates and formats for internal reports.
• Align Reporting with Strategic KPIs and Department-Level Performance Tracking.
  • KPI Identification and Mapping: Collaborate with strategic planning teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to customs, zakat, and tax.
  • Map internal reporting metrics to strategic KPIs to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop dashboards and scorecards to monitor department-level performance against established KPIs.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to management on performance trends and areas for improvement.
• Validate Data Accuracy and Ensure Correct Interpretation of Insights.
  • Data Validation and Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous data validation checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting data.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of data sources and reporting processes.
  • Insight Interpretation and Communication: Interpret complex data insights and translate them into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Communicate findings clearly and concisely to ensure understanding and facilitate decision-making.
• Collaborate with Business Stakeholders to Refine Reports Based on Feedback.

Qualifications

• Experience:

  • Proven experience in developing reports within customs, zakat, and tax domains is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong experience in SQL and working with different data warehouse technologies; Teradata experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis techniques and statistical methods.
  • Experience with data integration and automation tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
