Job summary

BEC Arabia is seeking a Senior Architectural Engineer to join our HO Projects Department in Makkah. You will lead the architectural design for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and Saudi Vision 2030, while coordinating with structural, MEP, and civil teams.

You will verify conformity with the Saudi Building Code (SBC), supervise design reviews, conduct site visits, and manage approvals with local authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Architecture from an accredited university.
• Minimum 10 years of architectural design and project management experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi Building Code (SBC).

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate architectural designs.
• Review and approve drawings per SBC and project standards.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress.
• Collaborate with project managers and contractors to resolve design challenges.
• Ensure sustainability standards (LEED, Mostadam) in designs.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Manage submission and approval process with local authorities.
• Develop and maintain project documentation.
• Mentor junior architects and engineers.
