Job summary

BEC Arabia in Khobar is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead complex designs for commercial, residential, and industrial projects, ensuring SBC compliance and adherence to international standards. You will perform advanced analyses with ETABS, SAP2000, and STAAD.Pro, review drawings, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with architects and MEP teams to deliver safe, sustainable structures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
At least 10 years of structural engineering experience with 5+ years in a senior role.
Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) and SBC knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead structural design for complex commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
Perform advanced structural analyses to ensure safety and reliability.
Review drawings, calculations, and specifications prepared by junior engineers.
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers.
Ensure compliance with SBC and international standards.
Mentor junior engineers and foster learning.
Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
Support tendering with structural input for bids and proposals.
Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies.
