Job summary

BEC Arabia is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design, installation and commissioning of mechanical systems for major Riyadh projects. You will oversee budgets, timelines, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to ensure compliance with SBC and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction, with AutoCAD, Revit MEP and Primavera P6 expertise, and a track record of delivering HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems on large-scale sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 10 years of mechanical engineering experience in the construction industry.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration or eligibility.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Primavera P6.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and standards such as ASHRAE/NFPA.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection in large-scale projects.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection for large-scale projects.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers to integrate mechanical systems into designs.
• Ensure SBC, OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO 45001 compliance and safety standards.
• Supervise on-site installation, testing, and performance verification.
• Develop maintenance strategies for long-term reliability and efficiency.
