Job summary

BEC Arabia in Riyadh seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design and execution on large-scale projects aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.

You will mentor junior engineers, ensure SBC/SCE standards compliance, and collaborate with civil, mechanical, and project management teams to deliver sustainable, compliant solutions across government giga-projects and industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering within construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Professional registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, and Revit MEP for electrical design and modeling.
• Strong knowledge of SBC and relevant electrical standards.
• Experience with HVAC, power distribution, and lighting design.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 and NEBOSH safety standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure compliance with SBC, SCE standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with civil, mechanical, and architectural components.
• Review and approve electrical designs, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and feasibility.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and quality; ensure timelines are met.
• Develop testing, commissioning, and maintenance plans for electrical systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigate electrical engineering risks.
• Collaborate with procurement to evaluate equipment, materials, and vendors.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and staff.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders and clients.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and sustainability practices.
