DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 4-8 years in hotel accounting with experience as Senior Accountant or similar supervisory role, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • Full hand on Opera and Micros point of sales functions/operation, reports etc.
  • Experience in SUN system. Working on Peoplesoft will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of accounting management duties such as maintaining record of hotel space and tenant leases; verification of payroll, preparing government reports, filing tax returns, etc. as needed or requested.
  • Communication skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Bank and all Balance sheet Reconciliations.
  • Assist in Completion of owning company reports, including Fixed Assets /FFE/Capex purchases.
  • Assists in control of inventory, credit and collection, disbursements, deposits and remittances.
  • Assists in enforcing, documenting and establishing adequate controls for all revenues and expenses and protection of assets.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and timely financial and operating information.
  • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
