Security Shift Leader

Shift Leader will be the main responder to stakeholders' inquiries that belong to the operation and maintenance of Security Systems across KAIA terminals. He is the main point of contact representing Vanderlande Industries to the other parties involved with the BHS & Security Systems sub-contractors. He is responsible for carrying out day-to-day tasks and executing the required activities to maintain and achieve the client KPIs and drive continuous improvement approaches.

  • Ensure internal & external employees are adhered to HSE rules and regulations and report any deviations.
  • Leading the sub-contractor teams.
  • Supervises the shift employees by overseeing their work, assessing their performance, enforcing policies and corrective measures, be the point of contact for questions, complaints and concerns and leads by example.
  • Facilitate the execution of planned, corrective maintenance activities, leads, and sets direction of the sub-contractors and internal service teams.
  • Ensures that sub-contractors comply with the customer rules, standards, and key values aligned with VI work practices.
  • Ensures proper levels of supplies (spare parts, consumables) and report the consumption to the maintenance manager on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Identifies issues and solves problems which disturb the daily operation.
  • Report systems performance/KPIs deviations and communicate, provide the immediate feedback to the sub-contractors.
  • Attend weekly customer meetings & record MOM.
  • Review the subcontractors' submittals & highlight the deviations to propose improvement actions.
  • Performing random quality audits and provide corrective actions.
