Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Fresh Graduate

Position Reports to: Electrical Engineer

Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia

SUMMARY

Primarily responsible for supporting the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of the critical electrical infrastructure within a data center to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the 24/7 monitoring, maintenance, and operation of electrical and power distribution systems (e.g., feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS units, PDU units).
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance on critical infrastructure equipment, and document all procedures and results accurately.
  • Assist in troubleshooting power and infrastructure issues, respond to alarms and emergencies, and participate in incident response and mitigation efforts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of infrastructure layouts, operational procedures, and performance metrics, providing reports to management as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors on facility upgrades, expansions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all operations comply with safety standards, electrical codes, and operating procedures.
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / KNOWLEDGE
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Should have certification from Saudi Council of Engineering
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuit analysis, power distribution, and safety protocols
  • Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, IR meters, and power analyzers is desirable
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems (e.g., chillers, pumps, air handling units, CRAC units) involved in data center operations is a bonus
  • Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA, or Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office environment including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
EXPERIENCE
  • Prior internship or work experience in a mission-critical environment, industrial setting, or facility management is a plus.

  • Analytical and problem-solving ability, with a creative and inquisitive approach to challenges
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to respond to issues and provide timely updates, and escalation
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including technicians, contractors, and management
