Job description

To design, implement, and support SAP BI, BW/4HANA, and SAP Analytics Cloud solutions that deliver reliable, scalable analytics aligned with business needs and S/4HANA strategy.

Key Accountability Areas

Solution Design & Implementation:

  • Design, development, and deployment of SAP BI, BW/4HANA, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Development and optimization of data models, ETL processes, and semantic layers to ensure data integrity, scalability, and performance.
  • Creation of advanced dashboards, stories, and analytical applications in SAC for strategic, operational, and executive reporting.
  • Adherence to SAP Clean Core principles and alignment with future S/4HANA compatibility standards.
  • Provision of subject matter expertise on SAP BI and SAC capabilities to business and IT stakeholders.
  • Architectural input on integration with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, and third‑party data sources.
  • Alignment of BI solutions with enterprise data architecture, security policies, and governance frameworks.

Project Delivery & Support:

  • Ownership of BI and SAC workstreams within digital transformation, S/4HANA migration, and analytics modernization initiatives.
  • Translation of complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications and scalable BI solutions.
  • Execution of unit testing, performance optimization, and user acceptance testing support activities.
  • Provision of Level 3 (L3) support to ensure stability and continuity of BI operations.
  • Collaboration with business users, functional consultants, and data governance teams to ensure consistent and reliable analytics delivery.
  • Delivery of workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer for business and technical users.
  • Coordination with external vendors and implementation partners where third‑party support is required.

Technical Assessment:

  • Technical analysis and solution scoping for business requirements, including development estimates and low‑level design documentation.
  • Validation of solution feasibility to ensure requirements are achievable within project constraints.
  • Contribution to project planning activities, including definition of technical scope and preparation of detailed work plans.

Solution Documentation:

  • Preparation of high‑quality technical documentation for all developments and customizations in accordance with defined standards, templates, and timelines.

Post Go‑Live Support:

  • Resolution of production incidents during support and maintenance phases in line with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Ongoing stabilization and optimization of BI solutions to maintain system reliability and customer satisfaction.

  • Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.

Delivery:

  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
  • Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

  • Solve any related problems arise and elevate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

  • Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvement:

  • Coordinate well‑defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high‑quality products/services.

Bachelor Degree in Information Mgmt. Sciences & Systems or Any relevant field
