Job description

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager / sales manager with strong exposure to the marine, shipping, or sea-freight industry . The role is responsible for managing key clients, developing long-term relationships, increasing business volume, and ensuring high service quality. The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within the marine or logistics sector .

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts within the marine / shipping sector.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Identify customer needs and provide suitable marine and logistics solutions.
  • Handle all account management activities including quotations, pricing, coordination, and follow‑up.
  • Prepare account plans, client reports, and sales forecasts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, logistics, technical, finance) to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Track market trends, competitors, and business opportunities in the marine industry.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Resolve client issues promptly to maintain strong partnerships.
  • Participate in tenders, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Maritime Studies, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4–8 years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Business Development .
  • Strong background in marine services, shipping lines, maritime equipment, or sea‑freight logistics .
  • Proven track record of managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple clients.
  • Excellent command of English and strong report‑writing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Experience working with marine suppliers, shipyards, offshore services, or shipping agencies.
  • Knowledge of international trade, port operations, or maritime regulations.
