Job summary

An international oilfield services company based in Dammam is seeking a Safety Specialist to ensure a safe working environment across oil & gas operations. Responsibilities include implementing HSE policies, conducting safety audits, and delivering training programs. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Safety or Engineering, a NEBOSH certificate, and over 6 years of experience in HSE. Only Saudi nationals will be considered for this role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in HSE within oil & gas operations.
  • Ability to work in onshore/offshore environments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.

One of our International Oilfield Services client is looking for this position to be based in Dammam, Saudi.

Note: Only Saudi nationals will be considered.

Job Summary

The Safety Specialist is responsible for promoting and ensuring a safe working environment across oil & gas operations. This role involves implementing HSE policies, conducting safety audits and inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits on site.
  • Monitor compliance with HSE regulations, company policies, and client requirements.
  • Investigate incidents and near‑misses, preparing reports and recommending corrective actions.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for personnel.
  • Support management in implementing safety initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
  • Maintain records and documentation related to safety performance and compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Diploma or degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field.
  • Must have valid NEBOSH certificate.
  • Experience of 6+ years in HSE within oil & gas operations.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
  • Excellent communication, training, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work in onshore/offshore oil & gas environments.
