Job Summary
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, driving profitability, and maintaining high operational standards. This role requires strong leadership, team management, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Guest Experience
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to brand standards.
- Maintain exceptional customer service and handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Ensure high levels of food quality, presentation, and hygiene in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Monitor restaurant ambiance, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere to align with brand identity.
Financial & Business Performance
- Drive revenue and control costs by managing P&L, sales targets, and budgeting.
- Analyze financial reports, optimize inventory levels, and implement cost-control measures.
- Identify upselling opportunities and enhance profitability through effective menu engineering.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team to ensure high performance and staff retention.
- Conduct performance evaluations, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
- Oversee scheduling, labor costs, and workforce planning to optimize efficiency.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Implement and enforce company policies, food safety standards, and workplace safety guidelines.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
Marketing & Community Engagement
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotions, events, and customer engagement strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and community stakeholders.
- Utilize CRM tools to enhance guest loyalty and retention.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in restaurant management, preferably in a premium or fine dining concept.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Management, or related field (preferred).
- Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and financial acumen.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with POS systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Language: Proficiency in Arabic and English
