Job Responsibilities
- Manage the care of new and follow-up patients at Riyadh Hospital from consultation through to completion of treatment.
- Maintain accurate and clear medical records.
- Ensure consistent medical treatment of patients by working in accordance with agreed protocols and achieve medical continuity of care.
- Provide advice to clinical, scientific, and administrative staff.
- Facilitate own training under the direction of the Medical Director, in accordance with General Medical Board requirements, best practices, and hospital policies and procedures.
- Take responsibility for Continuing Medical Education (CME) and document activities to support revalidation.
- Comply with current laws, regulations, and accreditation standards such as MOH, SCFHS, SFDA, CBAHI, JCI, etc.
- Ensure the credentials, privileges, and competencies of subordinates.
Qualification & Experience Requirements
- Possess a 3rd category credential according to SCFHS, such as Saudi clinical diploma, Arab Board, Jordanian Board, postgraduate certificate, Syrian Board, or Egyptian Master.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the same field after obtaining the credential, or as per SCFHS regulations; subspecialties require fulfilled training.
- Current registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a Registrar is highly preferred.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP, and ALSO, depending on the specialty, are highly required.
