Position: Registered Nurse

Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct and indirect care for all patients presenting to their assigned clinic in remote areas or directly to the patient when called to attend a case outside of the clinic. Using evidence based medicine the RN is responsible for assessing, planning and providing care to patients presenting with both acute and chronic conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history
  • Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and management
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
  • Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures as needed
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the healthcare team
  • Participate in staff meetings and trainings to stay updated on best practices and procedures
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in nursing or equivalent
  • Three (3) years post-registration experience to include two (2) years of emergency room or industrial clinic or ICU experience
  • Holds a positive result dataflow final report and passed Prometric exam (Prometric exam can be done in KSA with prior approval)
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Valid American Heart Association (AHA) or Saudi Heart Association (SHA), First Aid, BLS and ACLS is preferable
