Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor purchase operations, ensuring purchase orders are complete and approved before execution.
  • Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotations and follow up on deliveries according to agreed terms.
  • Receive materials and supplies, verifying quantities, quality, and specifications against purchase orders.
  • Record all receipts in the accounting system and update inventory movements in real-time.
  • Issue delivery documents for materials provided to relevant departments, ensuring quantities match.
  • Conduct regular and monthly inventory counts, review discrepancies, and propose corrective actions.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses, and submit periodic reports to the finance department.
  • Enter supplier invoices and ensure they match purchase orders and receiving records.
  • Prepare monthly reports on purchases and inventory, and submit them to management.
  • Comply with company financial policies, procedures, and internal control systems.
