Overview

Job Purpose – Project Lead

Responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, high-impact projects across the plant or regional network. These may include CAPEX investments, process upgrades, automation projects, sustainability initiatives, or new product integrations. The Project Lead ensures all projects are completed on time, within scope and budget, and in full compliance with quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Project Planning & Initiation

  • Develop clear project scopes, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, ROI analysis, and resource planning.
  • Prepare and secure approvals for CAPEX proposals and project charters.

Project Execution & Delivery

  • Manage day-to-day activities of multiple ongoing projects, ensuring alignment with timelines and milestones.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely and quality execution.
  • Track progress and proactively mitigate risks and bottlenecks.

Budget & Cost Control

  • Develop and manage project budgets with strict cost control.
  • Monitor and report cost variances and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure project spending stays within approved financial limits.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with departments including Production, Quality, Procurement, and HSE to align project objectives.
  • Facilitate regular project review meetings and maintain transparent communication with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure that project handovers to operations teams are seamless and well-documented.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Academic and professional qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus

Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience in the same field
  • Have experience with FMCG industry

Skills:

  • Empowerment and Delegation

  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
