Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Jeddah is seeking a production supervisor to oversee daily production activities, ensuring efficient operation of machines and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate has a technical diploma in plastic, 3-5 years of experience in the plastics, packaging, or pipe manufacturing industry, and strong mechanical aptitude. Responsibilities include monitoring production output, resolving issues on the floor, and preparing daily reports.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in the plastics, packaging, or pipe manufacturing industry is a must.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and control daily production activities according to the production plan.
• Ensure machines and equipment are operated efficiently and safely.
• Monitor production output, cycle times, and material usage to achieve targets.
• Ensure proper setup and changeover of molds, dies, or extrusion tools as required.
• Adjust machine settings for quality or efficiency improvements.
• Recommend corrective actions for recurring production or operator issues.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to operators and technicians.
• Ensure products meet defined specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure correct raw materials and color masterbatches are used as per production order.
• Prepare and submit daily production reports (output, downtime, waste, manpower).
• Resolve minor machine issues and operator errors on the floor.

Skills

Strong mechanical aptitude

Troubleshooting skills in Thermoforming process

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints

Education

Technical Diploma in Plastic or related field

3. Machines: Battenfield Extruder , Amut Extruder.
4. Materials: PVC/ CPVC/ PPR.
5. Sizes: 1/2 Inch, 8 Inch.
