Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Executive to manage the procurement activities related to packaging materials. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards. This role requires close collaboration with Planning, R&D, Marketing, Warehouse, and Finance teams to align purchasing activities with organizational needs and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement Operations: Source and purchase primary and secondary packaging materials according to company requirements. Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules. Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials. Work closely with the Planning team to forecast packaging needs and align purchases with production schedules. Collaborate with R&D and Marketing for new product development and packaging innovations. Coordinate with the Warehouse team to ensure adequate stock levels and manage inventory turnover. Liaise with the Finance department for budgeting, cost control, and invoice reconciliation. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and cost. Evaluate and onboard new suppliers as needed. Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications. Monitor market trends and suggest alternative materials or suppliers to ensure business continuity and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum years of procurement experience, preferably in packaging materials.
• Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and supplier negotiation.
• Familiarity with ERP / MRP systems and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in FMCG, food & beverage, or manufacturing industry.
• Understanding of packaging material specifications and sustainability requirements.
