Job summary

A leading oil & gas company is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee mechanical construction and installation activities in Saudi Arabia, specifically within the Eastern Province. The role requires at least 8-10 years of supervisory experience, along with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Candidates should possess strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and have excellent leadership and coordination skills. The position involves ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of piping and equipment maintenance, especially centrifugal pumps.

• Supervises mechanical work on-site for oil & gas projects.

Job description

Reports To: Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager

Job Summary: Supervises Mechanical construction and installation activities on oil & gas projects. Thoroughly inspects activities like RT, SR & Hydro-testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervises mechanical work on-site such as erection and maintenance related activities.
• Reviews piping and isometric drawings.
• Supervises the testing of industrial valves.
• Coordinates with workers and subcontractors.
• Ensures compliance with project specifications and HSE regulations.
• Monitors progress and reports daily.
• Conducts inspections and recommends corrective actions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8-10 years of supervisory experience in oil & gas.
• Technical knowledge of Mechanical systems, piping, and equipment, mainly assemblies of column, and maintenance of all kinds of centrifugal pumps.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills.

Preferred

• Experience in EPC projects.
• Familiarity with regional safety standards.

Other Requirements

• (Engineer/Technician) in profession must register with Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
