Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Head Office team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive technical support across multiple project phases, with a strong emphasis on design review, procurement, and tender preparation for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough technical reviews of mechanical designs and project documentation.
  • Manage the technical procurement process for project mechanical materials, especially for Long Lead Item (LLI) equipment.
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and detailed material take-offs (MTO).
  • Develop technical comparison tables for received vendor proposals/quotations.
  • Review and verify shop drawings submitted by subcontractors.
  • Complete or modify shop drawings as necessary to meet project requirements and standards.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations related to design and material submissions.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably within contracting or consulting environments.
  • Proficiency in key design and coordination software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks, as well as standard office applications (Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of international and local building codes, standards, and best practices related to HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
