Our Mechanical Engineering Team uses cutting-edge technology to design gas and steam turbines, compressors, and expanders.

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for:

  1. Assembling components such as compressors, motors, pipes, and baseplates per assembly drawings.
  2. Operating overhead cranes and handling equipment.
  3. Working within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
  4. Assembling/disassembling, adjusting, and installing mechanical parts to meet tolerance and product operating requirements.
  5. Performing basic mathematical calculations, demonstrating good mechanical aptitude, and using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
  6. Performing testing such as hydrotests and pneumatic tests.
  7. Aligning centrifugal compressors and electrical motors with gearboxes.
  8. Complying with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental directives and regulations.
  9. Owning the completion of QC sheets, manufacturing forms, and work completion forms.

To be successful in this role you will:

  1. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Have 3+ years of experience in packaging lines or mechanical assembly.
  3. Have experience in mechanical activities such as assembly of pipes and equipment, testing.
  4. Knowledge of packaging manufacturing operations is a plus.
  5. Experience in alignment for centrifugal compressors and electrical motors with gearboxes is desirable.
  6. Knowledge of products like centrifugal compressors, gas turbines, electrical motors, and gearboxes.
  7. Ability to read and understand packaging drawings.
  8. Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective equipment.
  9. Attention to detail and dexterity.
  10. Proficiency in English.
