Job Purpose

The Construction Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all on-site construction activities, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining full compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Accountability Areas
  • Lead and manage the construction execution of large-scale housing projects from mobilization through handover.
  • Coordinate all site activities, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Monitor construction schedules, milestones, and progress against the master plan.
  • Ensure adherence to project specifications, approved designs, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Review and validate method statements, ITPs, shop drawings, and material submittals in coordination with engineering and QA/QC teams.
  • Implement and manage site logistics, resource allocation, equipment planning, and productivity tracking.
  • Interface with consultants, clients, and government authorities for inspections, approvals, and progress reporting.
  • Identify potential issues, delays, or risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee site reporting, documentation, variation claims, and coordination with commercial teams.
  • Provide leadership to site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to drive execution excellence.
  • Enforce HSE standards and conduct regular site safety inspections and toolbox talks.
Role Accountability
  • Prior experience with turnkey / design & build housing projects is highly preferred, with solid experience in finishing activities.
  • Deep knowledge of construction techniques, project management practices, and local building codes.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with project controls, cost tracking, procurement coordination, and construction software tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead large site teams under tight deadlines.
