Job summary

A leading industrial firm in Jeddah is looking for a Machine Operations personnel to manage day-to-day machine operations, ensuring calibration, adjustments, and compliance with safety protocols. The candidate will inspect machine outputs, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the improvement of operational processes. This role requires a commitment to maintaining a controlled and safe work environment, promoting adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings.
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.
• Fix issues that might occur during operation.
• Comply with safety and health management policies.

Job description

To do a variety of day to day activates of machine operations within AIC’s operational plans, and adopted policies and procedures.

Machine Operations

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
• Control and adjust machine settings
• Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
• Test operation of machines periodically
• Fix issues that might occur during the work
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products

Policies, Processes and Procedures

• Follow all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
• Promote the implementation and adherence to policies, processes and operating procedures to others within AIC

Safety, Health and Environment

• Comply with all relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
• Participate in incident and accident investigations as required in-line with agreed safety, health and environment policies, procedures and controls
• Report on changes within AIC that impact relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls
