Position Details

Job Title: Instructor & Mentor
Employment Type: Both On-site and Remote
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (relocation required for on-site)

Program Details

Lead a 13‑week training program in Saudi Arabia, delivering comprehensive training and lectures on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Generative AI, and Model Deployment on Streamlit and AWS SageMaker. The program runs
• Classes: 5 sessions per week, 9:00 am – 12:30 pm (AST, UTC/GMT+3).
• Mentoring: 13:30 pm – 17:30 pm (AST, UTC/GMT+3).
• Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 20 hours per week.
• Start dates: April and September.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and workshops on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Generative AI, and Model Deployment.
• Conduct mentoring and workshops on the same subjects.
• Collaborate with the curriculum development team to create, adapt, and enhance training materials, including presentations, handouts, and assignments tailored to the Saudi Arabian context.
• Lead practical hands‑on labs to give students valuable experience with the mentioned technologies.
• Provide individualized guidance and support to students, addressing questions and challenges.
• Design and administer assessments and evaluations to measure student progress.
• Stay updated with latest data‑science trends and tailor content accordingly.
• Ensure the training program meets the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.
• Maintain attendance, performance, and other relevant records in compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations.
• Collaborate with the management team to align training programs with industry demands and student needs.

Qualifications & Skills

• Passion for teaching and mentoring in a diverse cultural environment.
• Technical background in Machine Learning, Math, and Python programming.
• Expert proficiency in Python ML packages (Pandas, NumPy, Stats, SciPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Scikit‑learn, Streamlit) and experience with TensorFlow, Keras, and AWS SageMaker.
• Experience with NLP applications of ML and DL (RNN models) and pre‑trained models (LLMs).
• Experience in instructional design and teaching/mentoring technical courses.
• Experience preparing well‑designed slides and hands‑on notebooks.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow‑up.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, considering cultural and language nuances in Saudi Arabia.
• Creative problem‑solving with proactive focus and foresight.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and networking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks professionally.
• Must adhere to class schedule and attendance standards.
• Proficiency in Git, Slack, Zoom, and Peardeck.
• English language proficiency level of at least C1.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience as an instructor or mentor in AI, Machine Learning, Data Analysis, Data Science, or similar.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.

Experience & Education

• 2+ years delivering training or mentoring to groups.
• Bachelor’s in STEM / AI / CS, or equivalent industry experience in Software Development, Machine Learning, or Data Science.
