Job summary

Raffles in Medina invites an experienced In-Room Dining Order Taker to join our luxury hotel team. You will promptly answer guest calls, take accurate orders, and showcase detailed menu knowledge while proactively upselling beverages and dining options.

You will ensure orders are correctly entered into the POS and communicated to the right departments. Maintain high service standards, handle guest inquiries professionally, and support F&B during peak times.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in In-Room Dining or F&B guest-facing roles.
• Experience in luxury hotel or upscale hospitality preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and guest-recovery skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer guest calls promptly and take In-Room Dining orders accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of menus, beverages, promotions and services.
• Enter orders into the POS system and communicate with departments.
• Upsell items and provide personalized recommendations.
• Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery and service standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized Order Taker area and record guest preferences.
• Handle inquiries and complaints professionally and escalate if needed.
• Support F&B operations during busy periods and adhere to SOPs.
