Aerospace Ground Equipment Inspector (Quality Control)

  1. PerformQuality Verification Inspections (QVI) on assigned aerospace ground equipment.
  2. Provideon-the-spot assistance/training and recommend corrective actions.
  3. PerformsQuality Management Assessments identifying maintenance practices, strengths andweakness.
  4. Investigateaccidents/incidents and provide comprehensive reports on root causes,contributing factors, corrective actions and recommendations.
  5. Review/writelocally developed Publications, Policy Procedures and Maintenance OperatingInstructions (MOIs).
  6. Researchand process Publication Deficiency Improvements.
  7. PerformQuality Deficiency Investigation and Analysis and provide solutions.
  8. Reviewand process Material Deficiency Reports.
  9. ConductSpecial One-Time-Inspections (OTI) and Investigations.
  10. Perform First-Time compliance QVI on all Time Compliance Technical Orders
Requirements
  1. Seven(7) level or higher in RSAF AFSC 242X1, or equivalent, and must have at leastfive (5) years technical experience on Aerospace Ground Equipment.
  2. Musthave a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Quality Control and completely familiarwith technical, management and quality assurance procedures.
  3. Befully knowledgeable of planning, scheduling, and controlling resources.
  4. Beproficient in the Maintenance Publications Management System and improvementprocess and be familiar with Time Compliance Technical Orders.
  5. Have firsthandexperience in using publications and computerized records management, collection,and information systems.
  6. Havea working knowledge and understanding of the Maintenance Data CollectionSystem.
  7. Atleast one Management Course qualification preferable.
