A leading mining company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Procurement Manager for its Mega Projects. Responsibilities include managing procurement activities, developing sourcing strategies, and ensuring compliance with contracts. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in engineering or construction law and 10-15 years of experience in mining or petrochemical industries. Strong communication skills and ability to maintain professional relationships with stakeholders are essential. This position is based in Riyadh, offering competitive compensation and a dynamic work environment.
Effectively handle the project procurement and contracting activities for Maaden’s Mega Projects in KSA and Globally with a focused approach in order to develop and implement sourcing strategies for projects under bidding or the procurement of major equipment and preparation of procurement and construction packages in project which will eventually maximize the value creation for Ma’aden and/or its business units. Responsible for compliance to established policies, standards and procedures including Local Contents (LCs). Apply the best practices among all Mega projects and preserves business continuity by optimum utilization of resources. Ensures the implementation of contracts for each project considering its risk and complexity. In addition, to effectively coordinate with PDE stakeholders internally and externally in the cross-functional assignments or initiatives in the organization.
