We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Inspection Team Leader to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and integrity of inspection activities across our projects. You will represent Fulkrum and its clients on‑site, lead field inspections, support inspectors, and uphold our commitment to excellence and compliance.
Main Duties (include but are not limited to)
Field Inspection & Testing:
- Represent Fulkrum and its clients in the execution of field QC activities
- Conduct visual inspections of commodities in line with qualifications and experience
- Review material test certificates and verify compliance
- Witness and verify Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) in various formats
- Perform pre‑shipment inspections and ensure readiness for dispatch
- Carry out inspections based on Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), reviewing client‑provided ITPs and method statements, and resolving discrepancies
- Ensure inspections are planned and executed using documented procedures
Reporting & Documentation:
- Create, review, and submit detailed field inspection reports within 24 hours of inspection
- Accurately report all findings, including issuing Non‑Conformance Certificates when applicable
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all inspection data and share findings only with authorised client representatives
- Where subcontracted test results are included, clearly identify them in reports
- Prepare field audit reports and maintain them on the Fulkrum server
Operational Support:
- Provide desk‑based support to Fulkrum operations, including report reviews and coordination assistance
- Support the coordination team as needed to ensure smooth project execution
- Support the coordination team in technical review and root cause analysis during customer complaints that are technical in nature
- Prepare an Annual Field audit plan and conduct the audits/assessments as per the plan
- Provide Technical Training for the team on a technical subject once every month
- Lead Operational training for all current and newly onboarded Inspectors to ensure consistency in reporting, performance, and client relationship management of all field personnel
Compliance & Performance:
- Ensure adherence to all Client Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Verify that all inspection equipment is calibrated and traceable to national or international standards
- Participate in internal audits and management review inputs related to inspection outcomes and process improvements
- Alert management to any conflict‑of‑interest situations or undue pressures that may compromise impartiality
Ethical Standards:
- The Inspection Team Leader shall uphold the core values of Independence, Impartiality, Integrity, and Confidentiality, in accordance with ISO 17020 Type A Inspection Body guidelines
Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Minimum 8 years’ experience as a QC Inspector for bachelor’s degree holders
- Minimum 10 years’ experience for Diploma holders
Certifications:
- Electrical Inspectors: COMPEX and ATEX preferred
- Welding and Mechanical Inspectors: CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWImandatory; CSWIP 3.2 or AWS SCWI preferred
- BGAS Grade 2, NACE Level 2, or SSPC Level 2 preferred
- NDT: ASNT Level 2 in RT, PT, UT, and MT is mandatory
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Mandatory
- API Certifications: Preferred
Standards Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of applicable industry codes and standards, including but not limited to:
- ASME, ASNT, API, NACE codes and standards
- Knowledge and experience of all zone types of Mechanical and Electrical Equipment
- Extensive knowledge of Oil and Gas industry project types, both onshore and offshore
- Proficiency in MS Office programs
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17020:2012 and Fulkrum's documented inspection procedures, processes and policies

Health & Safety Commitment
All personnel must comply with Fulkrum’s HSE policies. The Inspection Team Leader will provide site‑specific HSE instructions and report incidents to the QHSE Manager and QC Coordinator.
