Infrastructure Lead – Cloud Compute (1 year Onsite Assignment)

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Onsite required)

Engagement Type: Contract — 1 year (Renewable)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, oversee, and enhance compute platforms across Data Centers.
• Lead platform teams (Windows, Linux, Virtualization, Containers) ensuring SLAs and compliance.
• Drive automation initiatives via Infrastructure-as-Code and telemetry-based monitoring.
• Act as escalation point for critical issues and strategic platform decisions.
• Manage DR planning/testing for compute/cloud layers and ensure resilience.
• Collaborate with technology partners (Microsoft, Red Hat, VMware, Dell) for aligned solutions.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Azure/AWS hybrid cloud environments, VMware, and Hyperconverged Infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of OS platforms (Windows Server, RHEL), container platforms, and automation tools.
• Proficient in Ansible, Terraform, monitoring platforms (e.g., Dynatrace, Prometheus).
• Understanding of ITIL v4, cybersecurity practices, and NCA compliance standards.

Qualifications and Certifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s in computer engineering or information systems.
• 12+ years of IT infrastructure experience with 5+ in a lead/architect role.
• Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware VCP-DCV, ITIL v4 Foundation.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including core infrastructure and services is preferred.
• GCP certification is added advantage to ensure validated expertise in cloud operations and solutioning.
