Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Competence:
  • Demonstrate very good knowledge of all charging system nodes, including SDP, CCN, AIR, VS, ECMS, OCC, IVR, and NgCRS.
  • Handle tariff and RMA processes efficiently.
  • Configure and manage IN business systems effectively.
  • Possess advanced proficiency with VMware, including vSphere, vCenter (6.x), vSAN/Data store/vSwitch, and ESXi 6.x, along with host clustering with HA.
  • Configure and manage HP 3PAR storage systems, including LUN and volume management, firmware upgrades, and capacity planning.
  • Conduct installations, upgrades, system patching, and monitoring of virtualization servers (HP C7000, Gen 9 Blade Architecture).
  • Configure SAN switches and network bay switches on HP C7000.
  • Manage virtual machine installations on ESXi using OVF.
  • Administer and install charging system nodes (SDP/AIR/OCC/CSNMT) on virtualized hardware (HP C7000).
  • Understand capacity planning, network design, and the impact on CS nodes.
  • Automate processes using SUF playlist and jobs for SDP geo-redundancy setups, switchover, and fallback during disasters.
  • Possess excellent knowledge of control networks, system functionality, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Understand network topology, traffic handling capabilities, and characteristics.
  • Have basic knowledge of nodes (MSC/GMSC/STP/HLR) and routing/traffic routing/nodes integration/triggering tables.
  • Interpret and understand performance reports effectively.
  • Handle customer service requests (CSR) proficiently.
  • Experience with hardware and software upgrades.
  • Have good knowledge of all network elements and their main characteristics.
  • Understand core network management system functionalities and applications (surveillance, performance, and configuration).
  • Possess conceptual knowledge of OSS, GPRS, and related concepts.
  • Manage emergency handling in the operator's GSM.
  • Have good knowledge of network implementation/integration processes.
