Overview

Are you an experienced IB educator ready to take on a leadership role in one of Saudi Arabia’s most vibrant and historic cities? An established bilingual school in Jeddah is seeking an IB Diploma Programme Coordinator to guide the launch and development of its IB programme, starting in 2025.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and growth of the IB Diploma Programme across both boys’ and girls’ campuses.
• Line-manage Heads of Department and oversee key IB requirements, including the Extended Essay.
• Drive academic excellence while ensuring alignment with the school’s ethos and cultural values.
• Teach up to 50% of a flexible subject load (negotiable).
• Collaborate across Key Stage 3, IGCSE, and IBDP to ensure a seamless student journey.

Qualifications / Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree & Qualified Teacher Status (Master’s preferred).
• IB Diploma Programme Certification (essential).
• At least 6 years’ teaching experience (flexible for exceptional candidates).
• Strong knowledge of Key Stage 3 and IGCSE.
• Leadership experience with the ability to inspire staff and students.
