A leading engineering firm in Jeddah is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professional to conduct site inspections, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide training to staff. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in HSE roles, strong knowledge of local and international regulations, and relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH.   • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.
  • Identify potential hazards and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
  • Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Review safety plans and risk assessments for various projects.
  • Provide HSE training and awareness sessions for staff and subcontractors to promote a safety culture.
  • Develop and distribute HSE educational materials.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
  • Prepare detailed reports on findings and corrective actions.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies and ensure that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.
  • Stay updated on changes in HSE legislation and implement necessary adjustments in company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and training activities.
  • Prepare and submit regular HSE reports to management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies for projects.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives.
  • Support the development and implementation of emergency response plans.
  • Conduct drills and training exercises to ensure preparedness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Engineering in construction, civil or rlated field
  • Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in HSE roles within building, road, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards.
