Job description
Job Purpose / Objective

Supervise and train housekeeping staff on their job and area of responsibility. Plan and organize work schedules and special assignments. Establish and maintain the highest standard of cleanliness in the most efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
  • Responsible for evaluation of job performance of all housekeeping staff.
  • Monitors cleanliness of the designated area assigned to each housekeeping staff.
  • Implements daily work schedule and special assignments to staff fairly and effectively ensuring the minimum interference with the work of the department concerned.
  • Ensures that all housekeeping staff gets proper training and orientation of all their job responsibility, procedures techniques, and policies of HMC.
  • Ensures that all housekeeping staff complies with the policies and procedures and take necessary disciplinary action as needed.
  • Regularly conducts check-up of all machinery and equipment, furniture and curtains and ensures proper maintenance and conditions and inform the Ancillary Service Manager of any damage it may have.
  • Comply with the standards laid down by the Joint Commission of Accreditation on Healthcare Organization and perform the duties necessary to support and achieve accreditation.
  • Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
  • Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
  • Perform any applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his knowledge, skills and abilities.
Education/ Professional Qualification
  • Educational : Diploma holder or University Graduate
  • Professional : Any discipline
Experience
  • At least (4) years’ experience in the same field.
