A leading food company in Jeddah seeks a Salesman responsible for field sales operations and customer relationship management. The role involves making customer visits, taking orders, managing collections, and executing sales promotions.   • Follow the daily route plan to make customer visits

  • Implement the sales promotions effectively.
  • Submit the orders to Sales Coordinator and clarify queries.
  • Prepare and share the daily status report.
  • Handle customers professionally and address queries efficiently.
  • Coordinate with logistics for timely delivery of orders.
  • Handle customers’ complaints regarding return goods.

Job Summary

Salesman is responsible for conducting the field sales operations. He / She applies sales knowledge and techniques to achieve his sales targets and collection targets. He / She manages customer relationship through outstanding customer service and timely issue resolution.

Job Responsibilities
Sales Operations
  • Follow the daily route plan to make customer visits
  • Discuss the sales order requirement with customer and take sales order. Make an audit of customer’s stock to identify requirement
  • Provide inputs on competitors’ promotions, pricing, and sales trends to Horeca Supervisor
  • Implement the sales promotions effectively as per directions
  • Submit the orders to Sales Coordinator and clarify if there are any queries
  • Prepare and share the daily status report to Horeca Supervisor
  • Handle customers professionally and address their queries efficiently
  • Coordinate with logistics team to ensure timely delivery of customer orders
  • Handle customers’ complaints regarding return goods by gathering required information and submitting it to the logistics team for necessary action
Collections
  • Follow-up with customers regularly for achieving the collections targets
  • Raise concerns to the supervisor in case of overdues or collection issues
  • Prepare and share the collection status report
  • Submit cash and checks to cashier along with supporting to ensure accurate accounting of collections
