Job Summary

The Heavy Vehicle Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy vehicles, including trailers, to transport goods across designated routes in Saudi Arabia. The role requires strict adherence to traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations while ensuring timely and secure delivery of cargo.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy vehicles and trailers safely in compliance with Saudi traffic laws and company regulations
  • Transport goods to assigned locations while meeting delivery schedules
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
  • Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of cargo to prevent damage
  • Maintain accurate trip records, delivery logs, and vehicle documentation
  • Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure personal and public safety
  • Report vehicle defects, accidents, or delays promptly to supervisors
  • Coordinate with dispatchers and site supervisors for route planning and delivery updates
  • Ensure cleanliness and basic maintenance of assigned vehicles
  • Comply with employer, client, and site-specific rules and regulations
Essential Qualifications
  • Valid Saudi Heavy Vehicle Driving License (mandatory)
  • Proven experience in driving trailers and heavy commercial vehicles
  • Good knowledge of Saudi road networks and traffic regulations
  • Physically fit and capable of long-distance driving
