Your key duties

Buro Happold is seeking a highly motivated Graduate Analyst with interest in Asset Management and Operations to join our team. The Asset Management & Operational Strategy teams' mission is to bridge the gap between design, delivery, operations, and business objectives—ensuring assets are built right, operated efficiently, and deliver maximum long-term value. We provide strategic guidance across the entire asset lifecycle, helping clients achieve operational excellence, resilience, and exceptional user experiences in complex developments and giga-projects.

As a Graduate Analyst – Asset Management & Operational Strategy Advisory, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' strategic initiatives, conducting research, and providing valuable insights to drive decision‑making. Your analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of Asset Management & Operational Strategy will contribute to the success of our projects and the achievement of our clients' goals.

  • Conduct research, gather data, and analyse market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitor landscapes to inform strategic decision‑making.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the development of strategic plans, operational frameworks, and performance improvement initiatives for clients.
  • Assist in conducting assessments of clients' existing strategies and operations, identifying areas for improvement and formulating actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and visualisations to effectively communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of strategic initiatives, tracking key performance indicators and contributing to progress reports.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Asset Management & Operational Strategy, and share insights with colleagues and clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to continuously improve analytical methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Support the team in client meetings, workshops, and presentations, providing analytical support and contributing to discussions.
Your skills and experience
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Urban Planning, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of strategic frameworks, operational models, and performance improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools, such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar software.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts and findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail‑oriented mindset, with the ability to manage and analyse large datasets accurately.
  • Proactive and self‑motivated, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
