A prominent organization in finance is seeking a detail-oriented General Cashier to join their Finance team in Riyadh. The candidate will handle daily cash operations, ensure accurate reconciliations, and comply with financial control policies. This role is critical in safeguarding company assets and maintaining financial integrity. Ideal candidates should have a degree in finance or related fields, along with significant experience in hospitality or retail, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency in both Arabic and English.
We are looking for a detail-oriented General Cashier to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling daily cash operations, ensuring accurate reconciliation, timely bank deposits, and full compliance with financial control policies. This role is essential in safeguarding company assets and supporting the financial integrity of LRC & Avala Riyadh.
Collect, count, verify, and deposit daily cash, credit card, and other receipts from all revenue units.
Prepare daily cashier summary reports and reconcile them with system-generated sales reports.
Ensure timely deposits to designated bank accounts per company policy.
Reconcile cash summaries with bank deposits and follow up on discrepancies.
Maintain a secure, organized, and compliant cash office with proper documentation.
Handle petty cash, reimbursements, and department floats with required approvals.
Monitor cashier shortages/overages and upscale recurring issues.
Support monthly and quarterly closing activities related to cash and bank reconciliations.
Assist internal and external audits with required documentation.
Ensure adherence to Leylaty Group Finance & Procurement policies, Saudi accounting standards, and internal controls.
Coordinate with Operations, Cost Control, and Procurement to ensure accurate posting of revenues and expenses.
Bachelors degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
23 years of relevant experience in hospitality, restaurants, catering, or retail operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in Arabic and English.
Financial discipline and professional ethics.
