Job summary

A global humanitarian organization is seeking a Driver for the Makkah Region, Saudi Arabia. The candidate will be responsible for providing safe transport services for program staff while adhering to safety protocols. A valid driving license and at least four years of driving experience in an international NGO are required. The role offers a full-time position focused on efficient service delivery to program beneficiaries and compliance with organizational guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3rd Grade or above Valid Driving License.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Driver preferably in an International NGO.
• Experience in repairing Vehicles (Auto background) is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate in both Amharic & English languages.
• Knowledge of routes, duty stations, project areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate MC vehicles as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain vehicle log‑sheets in accordance with MC policies.
• Check the vehicle conditions after each trip.
• Adhere to all safety protocols as advised by Mercy Corps.
• Assist with logistics in the office and guesthouse.
